Happy 1st November

IT'S NOVEMBER!!!! WHAT?!!! Where did October go!!
For me this is when Christmas starts to bloom, Christmas drinks start appearing in to coffee shops, Christmas take-away cups start popping up, the air gets colder and crisper, fireworks starts to go off more frequently, shopping centres get lights up and slowly puts out the Christmas gifts/cards.
Everything starts to get more Christmassy.

The first event is the 5th of November, which is Bonfire Night, which leads to fireworks banging around left, right and centre. Bonfire Night is very exciting and great to go and see if you don't mind standing in the cold, I personally love watching fireworks, I sometimes watch them out of my bedroom as it has a good view to the firework display at the nearest school to me. I love seeing the colours and patterns.

November for me is going to be busy but an exciting month, its going to be busy because of work and exciting as I can start slowly get organised for Christmas, planning what colour scheme me and my sister may have on our tree this year, planning gifts for friends and family and how I'm going to wrap the presents.
October has just gone, that means Halloween is done for another year, October for me was a very Hallow-weeny month as it was nothing but crafts and it was more exciting as I needed to dress up, so the excitement of picking an outfit and planning how to do the hair and make-up made me look forward to the Halloween Party (at work). I enjoyed October this month, I loved seeing the leaves in the tress change colours to a yellow and red colour.

^^^ Here are a few photos of me dressed up as the Evil queen,
A wreath my mum made for Halloween,
A Halloween game I made for work.

I would love to read what you guys like to do or drink or craft in October, November and even December.

Username: Evie - Joe Sugg

I recently bought a new book called Username: Evie which is a fun, comic book that has drama, romance and a lot of action, which makes the book fun to read, My sister bought it for me yesterday and I couldn't put the book down, and finished it this morning, the author of this new amazing comic book is by the one and only Joe Sugg aka Thatcherjoe.

you guys may know him from being Zoella's little brother as well as Thatcherjoe, if neither of you guys know of Joe then here is his YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/user/ThatcherJoe

I have been following his process of this new comic book from when he first mentioned it and I was very excited to see it for real, I have watched each vlog of his to get the latest news and a sneak peak on what his character Evie looked like.

I have really enjoyed reading this book especially as you read your involved in the book as you got amazing illustrations to follow, which makes you feel like your in the book yourself. I find comic books interesting to read as you get to explore the story line more with the illustrations than just following the words.

Here are some photos I took of my copy of Username: Evie

If you guys have bought the book or have seen the book in shops or from Joe's Vlogs, let me know what you think of it in the comments below.

Brighton 2015

As you may notice by my header that I visited Brighton recently, It was a good trip, I was disappointed that I didn't see any beach huts because of the time but even though I didn't see any beach huts I did enjoy myself, Myself and My sister travelled by train which took 2 hours. When we first got into Brighton we headed to find 'The Lanes', which we finally did find after following a lot of signs and our map, 'The Lanes' are very small but very nice antiques shops, we did visit choocywoccy doodah which was pretty awesome and complete different to how I imagined, as there was all different chocolate bars and chocolate cakes throughout the downstairs of the shop, I think that shop would be ideal to get inspiration for Halloween. We found our way out of 'The Lanes' and headed towards the beach, which was very windy but lovely as the sea was a beautiful turquoises colour which looked magically against the crystallized sun dancing on the surface. I saw the carousel which quiet a few children were enjoying. After enjoying the relaxing sounds of the waves, we headed towards the 'North Laines' which took ages to find but eventually we found it and it was packed full of people but we finally managed to get into one of the shops to have some photo-booth photos taken, which you can see briefly above. Once we wondered around there for a while, we headed back to the train station as our train was getting in soon, we did stopped to get some delicious macaroons, then we waited for our train and headed home.

********************************************************************************

I enjoyed my day in Brighton as it was very different to what I usually do on a weekend, it definitely made the weekend fly by. I would visit Brighton again especially if there was a event or a signing going on, I think I didn't imprecate Brighton enough when myself and my sister were there as we were pretty much against the clock, but from what we did see, my day was pretty good for a first ever visit to Brighton.

Life-Update

I'm also sorry I haven't been active on my blog for ages, its just my work has made my life a little busy. I have got two updates to share with you guys, 1. I've gotten a new haircut and 2. I've gotten a job, 3. Pretty Little Liars 4. Pinterest. ...lets get started on filling you guys in on the two new updates.

New Haircut:

(My own photo)
Yes, I've gotten a new haircut, its shoulder length and I have had layers put into my hair, its not a mega change but its so much better to handle than my super long hair before. I'm deciding whether I should get highlights in it but as summer is nearly over pretty much, I'll probably wait until next summer.

                                                            New Job :

I think the last update I did was when I was in a dilemma of what I wanted to do in my life, But I can officially say that I am happy and settled with a job. I am enjoying each moment I'm there. Now I have been there 3 months and I can honestly say this job has changed my life, because of this job I have a future ahead of me, I have become more confident. without this job I wouldn't of earned the experience I have and the knowledge I can take away from the job.

Pretty Little Liars:

I have recently have really got into Pretty Little Liars (well I've pretty much have gotten obsessed with PLL), I am on season 4 at the moment and oh my god!! there's been so much twists and turns, I can't handle all the new information that you have to piece together along with the 4 little liars. If no one has watched PLL or read the book, Basically its about solving a mystery of a girl called Alison and her missing/murder case, It all involves her 4 best friends (Aria, Hanna, Emily and Spencer) as they do their own investigation of their own to find out what really happened to their best friend on the night she went missing, whilst getting mystery texts from someone called 'A'.  In america and now the UK have found out who 'A' is, I do know too but I'm still very interested in how the story is going to reveal their story and the reason why 'A' was texting the girls and Alison all the time.

                                                                                                                               Pinterest:

I have gotten obsessed by pinterest just lately, its basically like weheartit or instagram but instead of hearting images, you pin it and create a folder on your on pinterest board of your favourite actress/actor or favourite movie or quotes you like etc. I have recently gotten back into pinning images and oh my god!!! I'm loving it, I have a few folders at the moment and I will probably adding more soon enough.

**
That's all the updates at the moment in my life, New haircut, New job and getting obsessed with PLL and pinterest.
I am pretty active on pinterest at the moment, you guys can always check my pinterest board out, here's the link: https://uk.pinterest.com/shula_1995/

feel free to comment on any of the things I mentioned above or tell me an update in your life that your either happy about or just want to share, I would love to hear them.

My School Experience - Part 2

(image from http://weheartit.com)

I've done a school experience before and I've got 22 views on that blog post so I thought I would do a part 2 which is mostly going to be my embarrassing moments of trying to impress one boy and just moments in general. Enjoy...

Primary School
Now all these moments happened when I was about 9-10, so the main moment that stands out is when my crush at the time use to LOVE football, so I tried to know a bit about football just in case the moment came for when we spoke, so in my primary school there was a place called the glades which was basically a maze sort of place which lead towards the field and playground, so I was standing by the field playing around there with my friends and all of a sudden, I  heard my crush call out saying "Hey, could you pass the ball?" I looked down and it was right by my foot, so I thought 'Come on Shula, this is the time to impress him with an impressive kick' so I nodded and stepped background and started to jog up towards the ball, I threw my leg back and in the brief 5 minutes of my life I wanted to be swallowed by the ground as me and my friends and my crush and his mates watched my shoe fly through the air and landed on the field, I just heard my friends in fits of laughter, I quickly picked up the ball (as the ball did not move an inch) handed it to my crush, rushed to get my shoe and got out of there and hide from him and his mates.

After that incident, the time came back around for my crush to once again talk to me, I remember we were in class and we were building something ( I can't remember what now) but an amazing moment came when he asked to borrow some scissors from me, after that we continued to talk, I couldn't believe my luck, thoughts were rushing around in my head thinking 'OMG, is this actually happening' my heart was beating so fast Ha-ha. Break time came, I thought that's it, he going to hang out with his mates..but no..he asked me to hang out with him for break, so of course I said "yes, of course i will"
So there I was hanging out in the school playground with my crush, but then we happened to be playing on the bars (which was three sets of metal bars that went from low to high) so my crush was swinging on the highest set of bars  and he said "wait...I'll jump off and laid on the grass" so I warned him to be careful because he was quite high off the ground, he swung once...he swung twice...I could see him losing his grip and on his third swing, he let go and...BANG....straight on the ground with a massive thud!! My heart went in my mouth, I just stood there for a few minutes not knowing what to do, so i thought 'come on Shula, be a hero for him' so i ran to a teacher and ran straight back to him, I knelt down and rubbed his back telling him its okay, the teacher is coming and he will be alright.
I had to go back inside, once he left with the teacher, my heart went out to him because I could see him hiding his face with one hand as he was crying and holding his ribs in the other hand, I prayed that he would speak to me again and that moment hasn't scared him, he came in the class, sat down and got on with his work, I thought that was it, no more talking, he doesn't want to know, so I built the courage and asked him if he was alright, and he said " oh hey, yes I'm fine thank you, just a bit of bruising, thank you for calling the teacher for me" I blushed and said " that's alright! I only did what I thought was best"......from that moment onwards we never spoke or hung out again....

My main moment that I will share and that's when I was in year 6 so I was 11-12 years old, we had to write a letter sort of thing which basically explained what he thought we were all good at, we were sat in the hall amongst the whole year of year 6 and parents, one by one people went up on the stage, stood their whilst the English teacher read out each one of the letters, each person had stand there whilst it was being read out to everyone then shake hands with the head teacher and walk towards the end of the stage for a photo and then back to your seat. When my name was called, I stood up, headed towards the stage, walked up the steps, handed my letter to the English teacher, and from that moment I honest regretted handed that paper to her, as my letter was about that I was good at art and that I was good at drawing people body shape by using the technique of drawing the body shape as sausages. As the teacher was reading this..I misspelled sausages as I missed out an 's' so instead of the teacher knowing this and saying sausages, she said "savages". I really wanted the ground to swallow me up. I turned to the audience, and saw all my year laughing and all the parents laughing. I hated every moment on that stage, I had to shake hands with the head teacher, have a photo done and go back to my seat. I can tell you now, that I was more than glad when the whole assembly was over and we all left. Until this day, I feel embarrassed that  the English teacher said that in front of everyone.

Anyway I hoped you enjoyed reading all about my time in primary school.if you want to know more about my school experience from primary up to college or just leave suggestions of what you guys want to read about next just let me know in the comments.

Life!!

I've recently gone (and still going through) a part of my life where I'm scared to get a job because I have come to terms that I have a fear of failure which is all new to me, I knew before that I didn't like failing at school but I didn't think much of it, I've always stuck by if your doing your best than that's all you can do in that moment in time, but now I'm getting older I'm coming to realise that I cant always do my best, I need to work hard and improve my best ability to the finest to get a career that will support me. I've got told by friends that its "time to grow up, now your 20" but to be honest,in a way yes I need to grow up to a certain point but in a way No because no one grows up really, people just become more sensible and more aware of what they want to do in life,

I think the main thing for all this is because I'm youngest of my family, its harder for me as now all of sudden I have to do things myself but before if I couldn't do things myself then someone else would dot it for me, I think along with the fear of failure, I have a fear of being independent but that's all down to because I'm not confident. Now I have found all this out about myself I can improve and start taking new steps to a scary but wonderful new outcome that can lead into my career for the future. I am starting to look at things in a clear view and becoming more confident, I'm starting to believe in myself as I know if I'm 100% sure about something I will do it no matter what!.

For anyone who is going through this as well, or just feel the same about a different situation then my advice that I've got from my friends, is to start believing in yourself and look at things in a positive light and if your like me and start jumping to what I will be doing in 10 years time then what my friend told me today is to think about what you are doing right this moment and concentrate on your life now and not 10 years time, just control your mind.

My School Experience.

MY SCHOOL EXPERIENCES!

I am 19 years old and when I think back to my school times,I mainly think back to primary school and my secondary school because those two schools are when I meet new people and got to  have new experiences. I can't remember much of Infants as I was quiet ill so that experience was mostly a blur. I do remember that I used to go to a lesson for the recorder but when it was time to perform in front of my year in assembly, the lady that taught me told me (and only me) to PRETEND to play as I personal thought she wanted her daughter in lime light, who was also involved in the recorder group. So I ended up pretending to play this recorder in front of my whole year..it was so embarrassing!! Luckily no one knew.

Primary School
When I first started Primary school, I was so nervous as I had to move up into a bigger school than I was use to, but soon enough the school was pretty simple, you couldn't get lost as you just went around in circle. In Year 3, I was too shy to make new friends so I mostly minded my own business. In Year 4/5, I made some new friends, which I had most of my lessons with, which was very good, I remember me and my friend use to ask to go to the toilet together, and stay in the toilets for a while to just gossip. Ha-ha. My other friend use to go to guitar lessons, and she use to play new songs and tunes she use to learn to me. In Year 5/6, I meet a boy who came over from Australia with his family, His dad did a house swap with a teacher at my primary school, and I ended up being very good friends with him. I remember playing a game called cops and robbers, (which is a game where half of your friend group are robbers and you have to try and not get caught by your other friend group who were coppers, the aim of the game was just not to get caught.) Me and my friend and my new Australian friend use to play this all the time with our other friends, I always ended up getting caught.

Secondary School
Now I was 12, I sadly had to leave Primary school and move up to a bigger school, which once you got use to it, this school just went round in a square so you couldn't get lost really. In Year 7 I made some new friends, but I mostly stayed with my friends from primary school. In this year, I got friends with a boy named Jordan, which him and me and my friend from my English class and her "boyfriend" use to all walkl up to the pond,(it was outside of school bounds and a good chilling place for friends but I was super scared I would get caught.) we use to always hang out there, but no matter where I was standing at this pond area, I always managed to fall, which I remember once I got stuck in a massive pile of mud so Jordan and my friends "boyfriend" had to help me out which ended up all three of us being late for class and looking a right muddy mess..it was embarrassing as it didn't look good for me as I was with two boys and all of us were muddy Ha-ha.

From the years 7-9 me and Jordan had a on-off "relationship" which slowly ended but our friendship stayed strong as we were very similar in the way we think. Sadly in year 9 I got bullied, but it soon stopped as I stuck up for myself and stood to what I believed in and never stood for anything she said. (and plus she lived across the road to me so it soon stopped). In year 10, I slowly faded away from the people from primary school, I now had my own little group which contained myself, Nicole, a girl called Shannon and poppy and Emma. We hanged out together in and out of school. I had a mixture of friends but those 4 girls stayed with me along my last few years left of school. Year 11 was a confusing and tease time as GCSE's began, I had to do hours and hours of exams but for me personally I had a smooth time as I didn't stress too much.
The best moment was when I got an A* for my portrait of my sister in my art class and the girl that always competed with me only a C, (she didn't like me no matter how friendly I was to her) so I half made sure she knew my grade...it was a classic moment!! Ha-ha.

I hoped you enjoyed learning and reading some funny moments in my school moments.
Feel free to leave some funny moments that have happened to you at school or just life.
Feel free to let me know if you would like to read more about my school/college life.

Places I want to visit!

Ever since I can remember I've always wanted to travel around the world. As I thinking about this and looking at travelling pictures, of beaches and sunset on the beach .etc. I thought I would make a this post about the main places I want to travel to.

(image is from http://weheartit.com/)
                                    Paris
Ever since I first saw the Eiffel Tower, I have always wanted to go there and see the Eiffel Tower through my eyes, I have seen so many movies that are produced in Paris, and the views look amazing, the place is over all amazing. I find the couture so interesting, I just want to go there an experience a French life. I think the main reason I want to visit is because I am a true romantic type so it makes sense as Paris is the 'City Of Love'.

(image is from http://weheartit.com/)
Australia
Now Australia is an amazing country, not only does my friend live there but I want to learn about there couture, Australia not only has amazing warm weather but seems to have the most amazing views, amazing sites and the best tourist attractions around. They also have the most cutest animals in the world. Plus... who doesn't want to see the Sydney harbour bridge or the opera house?!. I also want to travel to Australia because they have a whole different way of living which I'm interested to experience,  plus they have an amazing accent...who doesn't like the Australian accent?!

(image is from http://weheartit.com/)
America
America has always been the main attraction that I've wanted to go to because I want to experience their life style and try their food and see their main attractions. America seems like a very free type of place and in America everything seems to be possible to do. The views seems to be another amazing sight, each and every part of america has different story to it, which will be great to learn.

Why not leave your 3 main places you want to visit in the comments below.

2015 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2015 has arrived!! I first want to say a MASSIVE Happy New Year! and I hope everyone has an amazing new year!!
To me 2015 is going to be year of doing what I want and being independent as in march I will be 20. I have been quite afraid of 2015 because I know it's the year of me growing up more and officially becoming an adult, which is quite scary to think about. I am determined to prove everyone that I can stand on my own two feet and fight for stuff myself. So I'm going take the world in my own hands and show people what I can do when I am determined to improve not only myself but how people think about me.

My plan for 2015 is quite short as I not 100% sure on what I want to do with my life at the moment, so my plan is to write out my CV and hand them out to any shops and basically see where that takes me. I have also planned to get more fitter as I personally think my body shape can be improved, so I'm determined to change my eating ways as in 2015 (hopefully) I will become A LOT healthier . I have come to think that I cant hide away any more as in to hide away from this I'm not so good at, This year I'm going to try everything that comes my way. I am willing and want to try new experiences in 2015.

Throughout 2015 I am keeping a scrapbook to record my 2015 highlights, which will make me want to make this year the best year ever. It will help me remember all the good moments in my life that will happen and make me want to put down when I complete or accomplish something new. I'm hoping by the end of 2015, I would of seen my friend from Australia and I would of got a job and I would of got over my fear of the till in a shop. I would also love to become happy with my body again and I also hope that I would of proved people wrong as well. I hopefully would of got a passport for one to prove my identity and two so in years to come I can book a flight to Paris or Australia.

I hope you all have a lovely new year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
